Three generations of our family live and work together on our ranch in Middle Tennessee. We have raised South African Boerboels for more than 20 years, and our breeding program prioritizes health, temperament, structure, and the qualities that make this breed an exceptional family guardian.

Our 32-acre working ranch is home to Dexter cattle, Kunekune pigs, heritage-breed chickens, and turkeys. Our Boerboels spend time with us throughout the property. Whether our sons are repairing a fence or completing another ranch project, the dogs remain nearby, calmly watching the tree line and keeping track of the family and livestock.

Years of living and working with Boerboels have taught us to respect their intelligence, loyalty, instincts, and natural protective ability. We work with a select group of breeders to preserve the traits we value while planning pairings intended to improve health, temperament, structure, movement, and working ability.

Our dogs live inside our home as members of the family rather than being kenneled outdoors. Daily interaction, ranch life, thoughtful socialization, and consistent handling help us raise confident, even-tempered Boerboels.

If you are interested in an Erickson Ranch Boerboel, please call or email us with any questions. We look forward to learning more about your family and helping you determine whether a Boerboel is the right fit.
